ReplyDeleteTi each his own. I've been to a church, small church o where the pastor said he wasn't comfortable taking offering, although he left a box outside for anyone willing but not compulsory. He said people that doesn't have offering during offering time always feel sad and left out while some give grudgingly because they don't want people to see that they didn't drop offering,so no offering time in his church.

DeleteObedience is better than sacrifice. He knows what He heard from God . Total obedience is what God demands from us and not partial obedience or trying to use human wisdom. Remember the story of Saul in the Bible, disobedience to divine instruction was what led to his downfall.
