AFCON 2025: Algeria Beats Burkina Faso 1-0
In AFCON 2025 Group D match on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Algeria secured a 1-0 victory over Burkina Faso at Moulay Hassan Stadium. The only goal of the match came from captain Riyad Mahrez, who scored a penalty that was awarded after a VAR-check in the 23rd minute.
