AFCON 2025: Sudan Beats Equatorial Guinea 1-0
In AFCON 2025 Group E match on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Sudan defeated Equatorial Guinea 1-0 at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca. The sole goal came in the 74th minute when Equatorial Guinea's Saúl Coco mistakenly scored an own goal off a Sudanese cross. This is Sudan's first win in the AFCON tournament since 2012.

I was shocked with the score line 😳 how did it happened? In my head I gave Equatorial Guinea the win until Coco scored own goal to give Sudan the all important three points
