Number one is drug adherence, don't let anyone fool you that you can survive on herbs only, in fact I don't support mixing herbs with your drugs cos I've seen it killing someone I knew in our centre.
The man's drugs stopped working because there was interaction between his drugs and the herbs he was taking and before he realised the damage, his viral load was so high and he had chronic kidney problems, he couldn't manage the kidney problem and at the end of the day,he died.
I've seen a lot of people claiming they have herbal cure but I'm yet to see anyone cured, most of their patients run back to the clinic when their health has already deteriorated and can't be placed back on their former treatment because by then they would have developed drug resistant, and once your drug regimen is changed its narrows your treatment options.
Only prayer combined with ARV can help a positive living .
So eat lots and lots of fruit....
I eat fruits a lot . And soya milk is very good for hiv patients, be it in powder form or liquid,it's very good, also eat lots of vegetables, do away with carbonated drinks and sugar, hiv itself is enough ,we don't need to add more health challenges to our system and also protect yourself from any kind of other std by practising safe sex, don't say you want to infect more people because you're positive, you're only adding more problems to your already compromised system..
I find most people skip this post and focus on gossips. Meanwhile serious tea of life is Here. May God help those who help themselves.

How about the soursop leaves tea? Isn't it advisable to take it too while on ARVs?
ReplyDeleteI suspect one man has been living with the virus for years and he's doing the soursop leaves tea therapy.
I don't know but I just suspect him based on his talk on how his ex and the kids she had after him died of illness.
I was thinking the sensitization of HIV is wide enough.
ReplyDelete"How did she get HIV?"
"How did he get HIV?"
I thought people have been educated enough on this topic but reading comments on this great blog space is just so shocking I keep wondering if people just claims to be ignorant or something.
I felt knowledge of HIV, possible ways of contacting it, ways it cannot be contacted and how people can live normal life with it are or should be common knowledge to almost everyone by now?
Or it's just a case of playing ignorant, just feel like bashing et al?
I'm amazed to be sincere.
The other day, I came across a 16 and 18 years old girls talk about PrEP and PEP and the 15 years old just said the best is to abstain from s*x.
So, how much more supposed adults showing such ignorance is beyond my comprehension to be sincere.
And then, there is google for you to check things out for your own information's sake.
Ignorance is not good oh.
