Everything in this Book is alleged...Buhari is not here to defend the content.

In his biography, “From Soldier to Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammad Buhari”, authored by Dr Charles Omole, the late former President was quoted as saying he only met Osinbajo through President Bola Tinubu.
The book, which was launched at the presidential Villa on Tuesday quoted Buhari as saying, “I don’t know Osinbajo from anywhere, I met him only through Tinubu.”
Osinbajo is widely believed to be among those Tinubu groomed when he was governor of Lagos State.
He was Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice of Lagos State while Tinubu was governor.
During the buildup to the 2015 presidential election, Tinubu is believed to have suggested Osinbajo to Buhari as his running mate.

Emilokan clearly stated Osinbajo was his sole nominee and he was the one who gave up his slot for him. Baba Akande has stated he also gave his buy in. Saraki was gleefully celebrating that Tinubu gave up that slot with tears after building the party, having the highest number of states and biggest war chest yet being ganged up on for Saraki's SP ambition. The same Saraki served his new party crow, exposing Buhari's naiveté in politics. Who pulled the rug off his feet, the same man who's 2023 ambition was unhidden and who Buhari's circle worked hard to thwart, partnering with Lawal who has stayed true. . Saraki is still inside that bottle till now. Wike knows the part he played in that senate election and Buhari's villa, the coalescing cabal at the time also moved fast to break Tinubu's wings. Speakership was no walk over.
ReplyDeleteThe same Buhari who is being portrayed as someone who is so loyal would have been asked when he was still alive where he knew Ahmed Lawan from for him to want to foist him on Nigerians and why he felt Fulanis should have the presidential slot for 16 years. You would have thought he was attending a burial on the night of the primaries.
Hahaha, I love this analysis. Politics, sure, is a game of interest.
DeleteWho are or have been the people coalescing with the Fulanis for years to date?
DeleteThe Fulanis have been repaying them in blaad!
Your citizens keep playing tribalism politics and into the hands of the same Fulanis? You took away your country's history from schools. HOW WILL YOUR YOUNGER GENERATIONS LEARN AND AVOID THE PITFALLS OF THEIR PROJENITORS?
Where is Gowon by the way? His voice has been silent since the Fulanis overran Plateau State. His coalition with the Fulanis in 1967 has cost his own people who had no input in his jettisoned Aburi Accord tons of blaad!
Gowon, find a solution to the land mines you trapped your people in
See what is happening in the Middle-belt - Benue and Kogi States. When they fought on the side of the Fulanis in the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War, what were they thinking? What did they negotiate for, that is even if they negotiated for anything?
By the time Gideon Orka found out what was in stock for them, some of his colleagues betrayed him and the plan, and they were rounded up.🥱😢
How did Kwara State become overrun by Fulanis? Why are Fulanis making incursions into more Western States?
Tinubu has followed the footsteps of Awolowo in coalescing with the Fulanis.
What will the end result be?
A PEOPLE THAT DO NOT KNOW THEIR HISTORY ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT - in blaad!!!
Who worked with Fulanis in the first, second and third republic? Who did your failed warlord work with after running from the battle field and leaving his 2inC to hand over while he went womanising as usual in exile?
DeleteIs that why you are unable to live and thrive except in other people's land? Who drove you out of your el dorado back into the places where this "blaad" is shed up and down the map? ? Please leave selective history for facts and objectivity. The same "blaad" is what you refuse to leave behind whether in other states up north or down south.
Dumb your tribalist lens and resign from perpetual victimhood.
Your 'glasses of assumptions' are obviously not by professional prescription, that's why you replied to your 'imaginary tribal rival.'🙄
DeleteKeep jumping on comments with social media militancy while your country is embroiled in insecurity and wallow in underdeveloped.
Anon 10:59, you have stated it as an ardent follower of politics in Nigeria. God bless u plenty.
ReplyDeleteSomeone thats always acting as if others are outsiders but doesn't mind, when they work tirelessly for him.
ReplyDeletePolitics na wayo
Exactly with that him popular statement I am for nobody and I am for everybody. If I be him loyalist after that statement if I no dey benefit anything from him I withdraw the way I put myself on the line for him.
DeleteThe everybody he is for should put themselves on the line for him.
Book should have been titled, Memories from a Ghost: Life as a Human
