NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS

I had seen a post where an HR person shared an applicant mail after failing to qualify for a job, It read, "GO TO HELL FOR NOT CHOOSING ME FOR THE JOB".
The HR spoke about the need to be able to handle rejection maturely
and I think that if you hadn't been a recipient of constant rejection, like actually walking in the applicant's shoes, you wouldn't know the depth of what he had gone through.

When my younger brother went to Lagos, He failed so much that at one point, I'd be scared to pick his call because he would threaten to die.

One of the incidents was when a close friend had promised him a job, they had even discussed the sharing formula because the friend had created that position in his organisation and lobbied his boss to provide him an assistant which he had hoped to put in my sibling.
However, things didn't go as planned because during the interview, there was another candidate who performed excellently than my sibling, and he was picked over him.
He returned home and refused to speak to anyone for 3 days, he locked his door and refused to eat, he became emaciated and became distant. It took a lot of advises, positive reinforcement to get him to be alive again.
I think that what the candidate felt was normal. Handling disappointment can be really hard if you've had the same experience too many times.

WOW....I am always sad when i see people broken by things that should make them stronger....What doesn't break you should make you stronger indeed...May everyone going through something that should break them, make them.

KNOW THIS AND KNOW PEACE

RAISING BOYS

We don’t suddenly wake up to find a badly behaved boy.
Bad behaviour grows over time watered by ignorance, cultural entitlement, and the dangerous belief that “boys will be boys.”

-- Excusing bad behaviour because “he’s a boy”
-- Teaching boys that strength means silence
-- Raising boys without structure or boundaries
-- Using punishment instead of teaching
-- Ignoring essential life skills emotional intelligence, self-regulation, empathy, decision-making

Then we turn around and ask,
“Why is this boy like this?”
Because no child becomes what we didn’t teach.
Raise emotionally intelligent boys
Build responsible, grounded young men
Stop the cycle of entitlement and irresponsibility
Teach the skills that prepare boys for real life
Raise boys you won’t have to bail out in school, in adulthood, or in society
Your son doesn’t need more shouting.
He doesn’t need more fear.
He needs a parent with wisdom, structure, and intentionality.

THE BOY YOU ARE RAISING TODAY IS THE MAN THE WORLD WILL MEET TOMORROW.
