''OFFICIAL RESPONSE TO RECENT NEGATIVE NEWS MALIGNING AND LABELLING ME FRAUDULENT BY DONATUS OKONKWO AND CHIMA ANYANSO, USING THE EFCC.
Following recent negative media publications from the @officialefcc labelling me fraudulent, and causing reputational damage to my name, family, corporate image, and business, it has become of utmost importance that I respond to clear the air for prosperity and clarity sake.
For context, my name is Mr. Wilson Endy OPUWEI, I am one of Nigeria’s early Oil & Gas Sector Professionals, in Exploration and Production business, with over 29 years corporate experience, presently serving as Founder/CEO of Dateline Energy Group, a company owning and managing a Portfolio Oil and Gas Infrastructure assets.
I am a Law abiding, Tax Paying Nigerian/Global Citizen.
For a few years now, there has been a story in circulation concerning me, and now I finally found my voice to tell my story, in spite of intimidations, oppression, and systemic bullying...
These series of events #TrueStory transpired in the year 2011, and has led to reputational damage of my name and integrity, especially within social circles.
A man called Donatus Okonkwo has alleged that I did business with him, but let me state here that I didn’t not and would never in good conscience, do any business with a character like Donatus Okonkwo, who is one of the wicked people behind the travails I currently face. He alleges that I collected $500k from him for supply of Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK) from the then PPMC, but he knows that is a blatant lie, as I never work for or presented myself as agent of PPMC.
This man was introduced to me by Chima Anyaso, another young cunning man, who also was brought for me to render help to, which I did, by handing him and his friend Solomon to the approving authority; a relationship they engaged directly, until their desperation, immaturity, inexperience, naivety, and wrong judgment calls truncated an already secured approval, leading to everything I’ll be taking about. The story continues… #EnoughIsEnough #foundmyvoice''
