FCT Minister Wike And Rivers State Gov Fubara Renew Hostilities As “Barking Dog” Comment Escalates Feud.

The political rift between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has flared up again, following a fresh exchange of veiled and direct insults.

The latest tension began when Governor Fubara, during a New Year banquet, remarked that “if you have a dog in your house and it knows you, does it need to bark?” a statement widely interpreted as a jab at Wike.

Wike fired back the next day while addressing supporters in ONELGA, declaring that “the barking dog made you governor when Rivers people didn’t know you”, insisting he was responsible for Fubara’s rise to power.

The renewed verbal attacks is a sign of the deepening breakdown of the peace deal brokered months earlier by President Tinubu....

Na wah!!!

  1. So many things I would have loved to say but I will keep that on a later day. Mr Wike brought all these upon himself. His greed and quest for total control will be his undoing.

One thing is clear and sacrosanct at this point. His Excellency Siminalayi Fubara has risen and the 001 in Rivers state.

    2. Sim isn't in a position to win anything. He is hasty, careless and weak. Listen to Wike these past days- he isn't pushing an APC or PDP etc agenda but a pan̈‐party movement. The Chairmen are his loyalists. The HoA, SIMS checkmate button is in his hands. He has obtained the state PDP structure...and , hate him or love him but you can't deny him; he's a great political mobiliser.
SIM onceagain has shown his cards too early.

  8. Once Wike exert absolute control over those close to him, there will be peace but once they are bold to confront him, he orchestrate chaos, anarchy and endless legal fireworks and drama. He he so greedy and revels in winner takes it all. Bitterness written all over him.
