Police Arrest Lady Who Approached 'Armed Robbers' To Help Rob Her Boyfriend Of His Gold Jewelries

Shocking right?Nothing wey Musa no go see for gate!"!"

A 24‑year‑old woman, Jessica Anthony, has been arrested by the Delta State Police for allegedly hiring suspected robbers to steal from her boyfriend of two years, a man she had dated, broken up with, and reconciled with, remaining intimate with him as recently as December 2025.

According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, Jessica, desperate to make money off her boyfriend teamed up with her friend Ada and went to a known black spot in Warri to look for criminals who could help her stage a robbery, telling them she wanted them to rob her boyfriend, though it remains unclear whether she disclosed the relationship.

Unluckily for her, the man she approached was actually the community leader who had been working with the police to flush out criminals, and he happened to know the boyfriend personally...

After asking for the boyfriend’s picture and recognizing him, he immediately contacted the man and explained that someone had approached them to plan an attack, prompting the boyfriend to tell him to play along.

The supposed robbers then demanded N65,000 to buy the tools needed for the operation, and Jessica and Ada provided the money before taking them to the estate where the boyfriend lived, pointing out his house and unknowingly walking into a setup.

As they were leaving the estate, the boyfriend alerted security who arrested Jessica, her friend, and the men she believed were robbers, all of whom confessed.

During interrogation, Jessica admitted she did it so she could extort N7 million from her boyfriend, claiming she needed the money for her sister’s medical bills, and adding that he owned gold jewelry she believed she could sell for a high return. The boyfriend confirmed he had two gold pieces valued at N4.2 million and N8.9 million respectively, bringing the entire plot into full view.

  1. Na wa! Why not ask your boyfriend for the money if truly you needed it for medical bills. 😑

  2. "She must have been pushed by her boyfriend to do this, if he was good to her she wouldn't have done this, there are no bad women, they only treat a man the way the man treats them, but now that it's become like this, the man should forgive her and give her some money for the made-up medical care story, that's what a REAL MAN would do"

Dante, dante, Dante, how many times? If you are half as intelligent as I hope you might be, you would leave gender wars alone.
Should I match make you with someone? Maybe that might calm the storm in your heart.

  3. Greed. You want to rob someone of his hard earn money. You cannot work for your own money or ask for assistance if your sister is actually sick?

  6. Thank God she was caught, if not, she would even be sympathizing with him, imagine someone you're getting intimate with, na wah o! This one can even kill because of money, she should rot in jail.
Is it a crime for a guy to disclose his assets to his girlfriend, assuming he didn't, she would be crying foul that he's hiding from her.

    1. Exactly! Had her plans gone as she wanted the boyfriend could have gotten into a fight with the criminals and they k!lled him. Nobody would have known that she was the one who orchestrated it. She would have been there crying even loud bawling at his funeral like they love to do😱

  7. If not that she's a thief, why didn't she ask the boyfriend for help.

    1. Maybe she did and he said he didn't have it, who knows. This was such a horrible thing to even think up and to go as far as planning. How will criminality end when ppl are procuring the services of these criminals to harm unsuspecting innocent individuals. Thank God it was foiled. I bet this beech and her minion were both crying out about insecurity and Nigeria happening to them but going to the evil and paying them for services. That man could have been k!lled.

  8. But must they disclose the identity of the person that foiled the plan and his secret mission of working with the police is out in the open, his (community leader's) life might be at stake because of this revelation

  9. Satan and his legions are out in full force on this planet, ppl better protect their thoughts and rebuke evil with it shows up. She preferred to be labelled a criminal and potentially harm an innocent person than to just go online and create a GoFundMe. Even if ppl were to mock you and call you a beggar isn't that better than being a criminal on record and targeting someone close in your life. A man's enemy is truly his family as the Word says.

Ada is no damn better to go along with the fckry, as a friend talk sense into nonsense. They could have come up with some quick side hustle baking, cooking or even providing yard work, anything would have been better than masterminding this evil. Now the same mother is going to have to take up her sick self and find money for legal fees and who will help with the medication now. Mtssssccchhhwww
