Silence Is Golden Unless You Have A Child....

It is all quiet and you close your eyes to find rest but in an Instant you get up and realise, its too quiet....
You look for your child they are quietly destroying something in the house....

Do you have stories to tell? I do!!!
I looked away once when my Bambinos were kids and got up after like 30 mins to find that one of my Bambinos had cut off a chunk of his curly hair that i was crazy about.....I SCREAMED!!!

  3. Mine was Christmas eve. I was in the guest bedroom working. All of a sudden, I heard both my boys coughing violently as if they were in the throes of death. I rushed to meet them in my bedroom and they were throwing up violently as well. The whole room was thick with odour of insecticide. They had reached into the top shelf of the wardrobe and carried it. They emptied the whole thing, a full can I had bought days before.

I quickly rushed them outside for them to get fresh air. I forced cupious volumes of ground nut oil down their throats and held their mouths until they swallowed. Minutes later, they started throwing up again. I needed them to. I then gave them warm milk to help neutralise the effects of excess stomach acid in their system.

Of course I wasn't going to tell the wife that our boys got the bright idea to try killing themselves on Christmas eve. She would have definitely chewed me out.

  8. Experience has taught me to keep them in sight, even though you cannot imagine what they will do the moment you turn your eyes away, just for 5 seconds.

  9. My boy was so to quiet for comfort one Saturday that I became worried. I started looking for him everywhere until I find him in the guest room using the water in the toilet bowl to wash my phone. He said mummy while I was playing with it, it started running temperature so I bath him.... I was just too weak to say anything. Na so that phone condemn.

  10. This cream on his legs reminded about one time my second son poured my whole sun screen on the floor and used it to rub on his body, the tables and even the TV. Lord help us with these kids

  12. I wanted to rest because it was a bit quiet from the normal disturbances. It became very quiet and I was like let me quickly snap, then I realized he his not always quiet most times he isn't sleeping. I went to the sitting room, lo and behold, he emptied the whole water from the dispenser ...the whole bottle was almost gone, everywhere was flooded and messy . That was the end to my snap, because the mopping and cleaning cleared my eyes. I couldn't beat him, he was 18 months old!
