DeleteStella, yes I have seen a ghost 👻. Strange but true, first time I went to a classmate's house to call her so we could walk to school together, I saw a man looking at me from a window. He asked me to use the side gate into the house. Months later, I told my friend and her family about the man, I learned that the person I saw was dead years ago, so the person I spoke to was a ghost 👻

A whole lot of things exist and that is the truth. My grandma used to tell us stories of different elemental creatures that apparently ppl have encountered, not ghosts, strange things with different abilities. Some were of the animal kingdom and some were a merge of different things. These were ppl who never read books of fiction or watched any tv in their lifetime, they had no outside influence to come up with those stories. I even believe trees are more than they appear to be. Trees have the ability to clear out sad and negative energy out of us if we just stand in the midst of them, all bodies of water have the same ability. Nothing is truly as it seem on the planet.

ReplyDeleteBut when we were still living@ Ikoyi, I had a chilly goosebumps head sweeping experience during a drive thru Alagbon Ikoyi cemetery sude Later after our narration at home, someone said it was a ghost that passed by 😮

ReplyDeleteOn the night of my Mum's burial, I went alone to the kitchen to get some food in the pot. Note that, there was no light, I was using the ray from the room opposite the kitchen. As I bent down, I suddenly saw a huge shadow, dressed in white overall, standing in front of me, I saw the legs but I was too terrified to look up because I knew it was her ghost. The kitchen used to be my mum's favorite place. So I got the food and ran as fast as my leg could carry.
ReplyDeleteAs I fled, I could hear plates clanging in the kitchen like someone trying to look for something from the cupboard.
Ghosts are real and I don't understand why they always have to come back and terrify the living.

I remembered when one of our tenants died back then in our family house and one of my uncle said he saw him sitting outside the gate when he was coming back from vigil the fear was not from here I couldn't go outside at night.

DeleteI lived all my life hearing stories, and to be honest took them all with a grain of salt. Maybe around when I was in my 30s that I had my own encounter. Thankfully, it was nothing violent, but I did not know that they could touch you and you would feel it. I think all kinds of things are out there at all level of danger, ghosts are just one dimension. My grandma used to say the invention of electricity and lighting up of cities and towns is what has driven many of them from around us.
