This has prompted some Lagos stations to cut retail rates to around ₦817 per litre while Abuja pumps still range roughly ₦839–₦905,
Dangote has urged marketers to avoid coastal (imported) deliveries it says cost about ₦75 more; industry leaders note most marketers buy from Dangote (bulk discounts apply) and say that with the current parity, logistics improvements and increased competition from other refineries or imports, retail prices are likely to ease if conditions persist.

That will be a nice move 👍
ReplyDeleteNigeria is really not ready for development. Fuel that was subsidized with hundreds of billions so they could bring the prices down is now cheaper than Dangotes price all of a sudden without subsidy. These oil billionaires sha want to frustrate the man. Some people get rich from Nigerias misfortunes and those are the people that will never allow Nigeria be great
DeleteThis is beautiful. For those shouting ‘Dangote wants monopoly’ hope you can now see that Dangote refinery has brought competition, see how they r competing to out do themselves in who will give us cheaper product. U and I know that, if Dangote refinery wasnt there, there is no way these people will ever reduce price after increasing it, afterall, we know the pattern in Nigeria, whatever goes up doesn’t come down.
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that we are not or let me say I am not seeing the effect on transportation cost.
DeleteTrue that... God's Favor.
DeleteIt’s the removal of subsidy that increased your price
DeletePetrol sale is heavily regulated as to what you can add on top
Fix your eyes on your govt
Anything to further reduce the price of petrol is highly welcome.
ReplyDeleteWe go thank God o
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful development.
ReplyDeleteHow this imported fuel never dropped in price before Dangote Refinery though....
Not late,we absolutely love it
This is nice
ReplyDeletewelcoming development and i pray the price drops down completely.
ReplyDeleteI'll only be happy if they return the fuel price back to #200 per litre.
ReplyDeleteLet them keep competing with themselves hopefully the price will continue to drop further.
Go and bring the 1.5 billion dollars per month that will bring that price. Professional parasites who made nothing of 5 decades of consuming not just their future but that of their children and grandchildren to finance mediocre lives.
DeleteThe price of petroleum products are set internationally and announced everyday in the news. Logistics and import costs, storage and running costs of business add to the price and this is regulated.
We cannot continue to print money and thus exponentially increase inflation that makes people's money worth less and less so that you can continue a life of not producing but just consuming with a most ungrateful and uncreative mindset.
If togolese, ivorians, Ghanians and burkinabe can buy fuel at market price with Nigerians flooding into their country, you who claims to be special should pay the price and keep fuel queues away.
You wanted SUBSIDY REMOVAL ON DAY ONE. It's the only way to go. Enjoy it and apply yourself to earn more by solving problems.
May it keep dropping.
ReplyDeleteIt's well with Nigeria
ReplyDeleteThank God 🙏
