Singer Busola Oke Cries Out Over Being Depressed, Broke And Homeless

Better to speak up than Kpai in silence!!!!

Nigerian singer, Busola Oke, professionally known as Eleyele, has cried out over financial struggles she is going through....
On Wednesday February 25, 2026, she solicited for financial help a few hours after posting a disturbing clip went viral on social media.
Eleyele, who was visibly distressed, lamented being lonely, helpless, and not at peace.

Speaking in an interview on Talk to B podcast, Eleyele, who revealed she’s depressed, stated that she made the video because she was hungry and needed emotional support from her fans.

“I did that video because I was hungry. I don’t have food to eat. I’m owing a lot of debt. I don’t know what can happen to me tomorrow. I want to be free because I don’t owe any debt when I die. I’m heavily burdened.
“I did that video to communicate with my fans because I was depressed. I just needed somebody saying I love you. My rent ran out, I couldn’t pay. I actually pray to God sometimes back to take my life if he doesn’t want to sustain me. Since 2020, I have gone through a lot of things that are difficult for me to share with people. I don’t have a house to sleep in. I have been sleeping in different places. ........''

Awwww this is so sad but i am very confident that Talk to B podcast host Biola Bayo will help her out!

    3. Hope you know that someone may be paying the hotel bills for her?
Hope you also know that well wishers do give money to others to go spray musicians at parties?
Not all you see are what they seem.
I have seen my husband give money to his broke relatives to go spray during parties when . musicians are praising them.

  5. May God help her. Asides from the stressors , it looks like a depressive episode.

Financial education is important and never be scared to downsize when your earnings drop. If you're struggling with keeping staff, let them go and earn. If you can no longer afford 1m in rent, move, even outside Lagos to where you can pay 400k for a year in peace.

It's very stressful when someone else is paying for the roof over your head and you can't afford to go and even look for a rental or eat in the hotel. You see money burning but can't stop the flames.

Go to a cheaper area where thee rent is affordable.

    God luck to you.

  9. I hope help locates her, the problem with most of these celebrities is that they always like to live above their means just to show off and pepper imaginary haters.
If you can't afford a million naira rent, go and rent a cheaper house and stop living in a hotel that is 55k per night, besides if music isn't working, she should do another thing, music isn't for everyone.

  11. Broke and still paying 55k per night in a hotel. #55,000×30 days =1,650,000.
Multiply 1,650,000 by 12=19,800,000 million. She still uses Uber for her commute. She wants to keep up with the Johnsons! If only she knows how much some of us have adjusted our lifestyles just to stay afloat 🤔

  13. When the years of plenty are on a person, build a modest and affordable two bedroom bungalow. Ensure that it is fully paid off for. Never sell it, because life can happen to anyone. Today’s home prices are higher than ever before, even renting is extreme. I wish that she had been smarter about the practical things of life. Going into entertainment is risky, sporadic work, no pension or health benefits. Please have a plan b always and be skilled at something else just in case you need to do a 9-5. Learn from the plight of others, every year there is a past entertainer crying out because of the hardships of life. This year, both Halima and this lady have cried out already and it’s only February.

There is no shame in getting a 9-5. Let who wants to laugh and mock do so, there can be no pride where survival is concerned. I sincerely wish you a transformation in your circumstances.
