The Porting event took place in Jalingo, the state capital.
Vice President Kashim Shettima was there to welcome him on behalf of President Bola Tinubu. APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda handed over the party flag and named Kefas as the new leader of APC in Taraba State.
This switch brings the number of APC governors to 30.
