There's this guy in my area whom I have always thought was married but found out after the lady he was living with left with their child.



From the information gotten, he hasn't done anything on the lady's head, automatically she's not his wife yet according to legal and traditional rites stipulations. Couple of months ago, I stopped seeing this young lady and in two occasions, I had asked this guy about his 'wife' and son who's 2yrs of age. His responses are they traveled and will be back soon. 

I didn't just assumed her to be his wife, he had always called her his wife to me until recently when I found out the lady left with their child to her family house.

There's something fundamentally wrong with most guys that smoke weed I know. They have this penchant of hitting their women so hard most especially in a little misunderstanding and slight provocation. When this lady couldn't take that anymore, she left with her baby. 

From the information gotten, with what he did to her, I doubt he'll be courageous enough to step his foot in her family's house to see her. How do people lift their hands on their partner still baffles me. Are they baby to you? I stopped asking about them whenever we met and if he's sensible enough, he will know I have found out what truly happened.

 Probably he'll open up to me someday about it. Irrespective of what the issue was, you don't hit your partner. Are you that mad or stupid?

Why hit your partner you claim to love? Only irresponsible people do that be you a man or a woman. The shame is on you. Before you have that urge to hit your partner or punish them emotionally, always remember why you chose them in the first place. 

They're no kids but your better halve. If they no longer bring you peace and happiness, why not respect yourself enough to walk away or let them go in peace than become a murderer.
When you treat a good partner badly, you don't just lose their love, you lose their trust, loyalty, respect, companionship, smile and energy. Companionship shouldn't bring emotional pains to anyone or leave them with scars and trauma. Let your partner be happy they didn't choose wrongly. In all you do, always remember why you chose them for yourself in the first place.

Let me also point this clearly. You don't just call a woman your wife because she's under the same roof with you or she bore you a child when you haven't married her properly. It doesn't matter if the family knows you or you have been spending on her and the family. I don't know why some men make this mistake. I have seen a couple with three kids, yet they're not legally married. In a situation like this, since you've both started a family together, you don't need an elaborate marriage ceremony anymore if money is the problem.

 A simple traditional rites and marital blessings if you're a Christian will do just fine. For Catholics, there's a group marriage or the chapel marriage for just the both of you and both families representatives. But then, some won't learn this until something unpleasant happened and they're left with a bitter choice to choose from.
