ReplyDeleteWhat of all those ones wey dey stand for road dey bill commuters? They should start from there. They are the real criminals. Police inclusive. The 200 Naira wey dem dey collect, sometimes one keke go pay 6 times for 6 different spots in a day. The corruption in Nigeria is neck deep.

DeleteHe must have forgotten that the military required him to be an upstanding citizen. I don’t know how much the Nigerian military pays its personnel but it’s not volunteer work, it’s paid and provides a free education in almost all professional areas. It’s a solid career path for an ambitious person. So many questions here.

DeleteSo I had to go do some research. The pay is generally crap in the Nigerian military, and I’m not sure if they get additional supplements. His actions are a reflection of a broken system. The Nigerian government needs to do better. Why are ppl so grossly underpaid there in all sectors, yet expected to give their best and deliver top tier service. Crap pay equals crap results. It’s a disgrace when an officer of the government has resorted to robbery. Please pay these folks a respectable and dignified salary!
