Singer Chike Reveals The Kind Of Woman His Mum Warned Him Not To Settle For..

Hmmmmmm!!!

Singer Chike has revealed that his mother warned him not to marry an unemployed woman or someone from a poor family background to avoid financial burden.
He says ''How much does your brother make per annum?'
Not baby loan me money, I want to help my brother"

While speaking at Flow 98.7 FM, he emphasized on the need for a partner who brings value
In his words;
"I think everybody should look for a partner that adds value
I personally, my mum has told me that no matter how the love is doing me, don't settle for a woman wey no get wetin she dey do
She said she knows me as her kid and also knows women.
You're the one paying rent every year , that's an expense
She said no matter how you care about that person, if they are not productively adding to production or to the environment, don't do it.
The worst is if they have baggage of family, don't do it
Cause you know it's not all of us that are coming from comfortable places
You meet an "Ada"(first daughter) that she's the one taking care of her whole family and you go and choke hand there and she's not productive
So now I ask 'what's your name? where are you from? How many siblings do you have? What do they do?'
I need to know they are winning
This happens when you go past the sxx, when it clears for your eye
'wetin your brother dey do? Your sister nko? She don marry?,make we know say she gets where she don face,How much does your brother make per annum?'
Not baby loan me money, I want to help my brother"

  5. Same thing i have been telling my brother. So yes i agree with him. I am a woman and to the glory of God, i add value, though i am Ada, and i have alot of responsibilities, but because i am working, my husband doesn't even know the extent of responsibilities i shoulder in my family. He doesn’t know that i trained 3 of my siblings through school and we have never asked him for a dime. Thank God we don’t look like what we’ve been through.

    1. Thank God for you, sis. More strength to you! But I wonder why/how a grown adult would decide to do nothing tangible with their life.
However, I hope his mom is also saying this to her daughters (if he has sisters). No be too dey tell your son, na to also tell your own daughters same.

  11. Chike is saying what most Lagos men can't say out loud. The difference is that he has worked real hard and can choose. Not some lazy bottom rank bum, talmbout "I cannot do broke". When he himself is broke (a.k.a broqué)
