Actor Kevin Ikeduba Reportedly Relocates To The US And Explains How Nollywood Let Him Down

Actor Kevin Ikeduba known for his tough guy roles in movies has reportedly relocated to the US after spending 25 years in Nollywood with nothing to show for it (According to him)

In his words:

“I’ve spent over 25 years in Nollywood, but the reality is, it hasn’t rewarded me the way people assume. I still can’t afford the kind of life I want. That’s why I’ve decided to step away from acting and relocate permanently to the U.S. If everything works out, I might even join the army there or find a solid job to build a better life.”

  1. Eyah. At his age, he should be enjoying the fruits of his labour, not starting all over. I truly feel for him.
Nollywood has not rewarded many of you veterans, may God open new doors for you wherever you go.

  2. Joining the military would be better for you. At least you get to enjoy the Perks of a veteran for serving the country when you retire, unlike Nollywood that abandoned their legends when they are ill or old.
Another thing I think that affected you was the stereotype. Bad boy/gangster typa roles. Hey, I might be wrong though, but you sure did grace our screens then

    1. Okay o, so how successful and well doing are the none stereotyped? Nigerian fails her citizens every day in every field of life.

  14. I don't think he can join military at this age again, my husband was rejected at 35 then..Most of our actors especially the veterans are not really enjoying at all. I wish him all the best.
