One thing I have often prayed against in life is, never to work like an elephant and then eat like an ant.
Spiritually, to some persons this is often attributed as backwardness, curse or even a spell. But then I'll say, with what I have seen so far, it might not necessary be a spell or whatsoever but the intentionality of a given individual.

Among my team working with me are two guys I wanna talk about. One eats like the way he works. I often taunt him saying, "As you dey work, na so you dey eat." You need to see the volume and quality of food he eats during and after works

The other one that earns better, prefers to buy snacks and mineral. He likes junks a whole lot. Considering the nature of the works he does, he ought to be feeding fine but he prefer to eat little even when the money is available. I found out the same money he hardly feed himself with, oftentimes he spent it on gambling with a belief he'll win millions.

 I will understand if he was starving himself for something productive or a project he was executing. Seeing him end up losing the money on sports bet gambling is a huge disappointment I must say.
One evening after work, he met me at an eatery close by. Attracted to the meal, he asked what's the price? I told him ₦7,500. He shouted and almost embarrassed me. 

He felt the money was too big for a meal that goes into his stomach and nourish him but never too big to stake on a gamble which he usually end up losing. 

I saw how he wanted the meal but paying that amount was difficult for him. I offered to add ₦2,500 if he can pay ₦5,000. This he refused. Alright how much do you want to pay? He said he thought it was something of ₦1,500. During payment when I was done eating, I paid for him to be served.

 I saw the excitement on his face as I was leaving and how he hurriedly sat down. That same weekend, I learnt he lost a good amount of money gambling according to one of the boys he told about it.
I find this so troubling when I see people starve when they can afford good and quality meals.

We struggle too much for a life that can end at any time rather than taking good of ourselves. The sight of your account balance gives you joy and you hardly wanna make use of your own money to live well and enjoy this life that's ephemeral. 

The worse way to live life is to have money that would have given you comfort and great relaxation but you chose to eat poorly, live poorly and eventually, might even die poor thereby leaving those money behind to the bank's enrichment if no one among your loved ones knew about such account existence.

I make no boast when I say I spend good money on what I consume. Those who know me will attest to this. This is how well I take good care of myself and reward the effort I put on the daily making this money. In this life, I'll always choose comfort as long as I have the means.

Hmmm you spent 15k for yourself and the guy at a sitting? 15k food? did you eat a whole goat or what? what kind of food is so expensive please?So if you eat there everyday it will be 7,500X 7 = 52,500 in a month?For what?Please i have the same mindset like the guy you bought food for...
