The intelligence‑driven raids, carried out on Friday, April 17, 2026, targeted two locations where the drugs were stored inside residential buildings to avoid detection. A total of 19,094 cartons containing 1,909,400 bottles of codeine syrup and another 34 cartons holding 2,360,000 pills of high‑potency Tramadol 225mg were seized.
The NDLEA says the warehouses were part of a coordinated distribution network supplying Lagos and beyond.

How do these volume of drugs pass thru our land, sea or air borders without detection or connivance with security agencies???
