Nigeria's Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha Resigns As Labour Minister

Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has resigned as Nigeria's Minister of State for Labour and Employment and her exit is reportedly triggered by President Bola Tinubu’s directive for political appointees eyeing 2027 to step aside.

Her announcement, delivered through her official X handle, framed the move as a transition rather than a retreat ..She says “not an end but a new beginning.”
She is the third minister to resign under the president’s pre‑2027 compliance push.
