President Donald Trump announced that the United States has paused its planned military strikes on Iran for two weeks. He said the decision came after direct conversations with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Trump stated that the temporary halt depends on Iran agreeing to the “COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING” of the Strait of Hormuz, describing the arrangement as a “double‑sided CEASEFIRE.”

Interesting times ahead. Hopefully, peace will be restored.
