UK Cracks Down On Fake LGBTQ+ Asylum Claims After Undercover Exposé
The UK government has begun investigating migrants who falsely claim to be gXy to secure asylum, after a BBC undercover report exposed advisers coaching people mainly from Pakistan and Bangladesh to fabricate LGBTQ+ stories.
The investigation found advisers offering fake backstories, staged photos, support letters, and even fake partners, sometimes charging up to £7,000.
