Nollywood actor Lanre Adediwura has revealed why he turned down an offer to return to the hit series Wura.
In a chat with TVC Entertainment, he said the project left him financially drained despite the fame it brought.
“I came out of ‘Wura’, and I was spending more than I made. I came out poorer. For six months after, I could barely survive. It was YouTube that got me the stability,”
Adediwura explained that promises made during negotiations were not fulfilled, and the long shoot prevented him from taking other jobs. He also disclosed that he missed out on a role in House of Ga’a despite contributing translations for the production.
The actor added that he has no fear of legal issues, noting that unique elements he introduced to Wura are still being used.
