Nollywood actor Roy De Nani has opened up about losing his son, his daughter, and his brother , all without a single colleague reaching out to support him.
Speaking on ''Where Is The Lie podcast'' the actor revealed that his two children, who lived with sickle cell disorder, needed blood transfusions he could not afford at the time.
Tragically, both of them passed away.
He added that when his brother died, not one actor or actress showed up to stand with him.
In his words:
“I have a brother from the same father. When he died, not a single actor or actress showed up.
I lost my son, I lost my daughter because they needed blood transfusion so they could continue living, but there was no money to buy the blood, and they died.
Nollywood never came to assist me. Not that they don’t care, but they have not been touched, let it be said that way.”

ReplyDeleteThis is so sad.
ReplyDeleteOh! Dear sorry for the loss oo
ReplyDeleteIt's not fair oo 😔
So sorry for your loss sir.
ReplyDeleteI'm not trying to hold brief for them, But I think, except there's a a rule to give stipulated amount to a member, and a rule to task every member a certain amount to pay monthly for such financial supports, I guess everything will be voluntarily by individual members.
And most times, it's by your personal relationship with them.
Let go of the hu..rt and focus on channeling your energy and talents to financial independence.
