Nigerian Sprinter Oluwabukola Pereira Unalifed While Chasing Robber

Nigerian sprinter Oluwabukola Pereira was unalived by a robber during a tragic incident at her workplace, Arise Auto Center in Lockland, Ohio, on May 8, 2026.



According to reports, the thief stole about $1,500 and attempted to escape but Bukola, who worked as the manager, ran after him but she was fatally shot in the process.
She was just days away from her May 16 graduation at Xavier University, where she was set to receive her MBA.
The university also revealed that she had already secured admission into a Business Analytics postgraduate program scheduled to begin later this year.
