Rapper Ice Prince Addresses Backlash Over His Performance At The 2026 APC National Convention.

The rapper faced criticism for appearing at the ruling party’s event but clarified his decision during an episode of the Black Box Podcast.
He explained that he performed because of his family connection to the party’s National Chairman.
“Who booked me for that event? My uncle ,Nentawe Yilwatda, who is the APC Chairman. He’s not just a random person to me. He’s my real uncle,” he says.
He maintains that his appearance was personal and professional, not political.
