In a recent interview with content creator King Mitchy, Stellamaris addressed rising criticism from Nigerians who donated during Mr Ibu’s illness and later questioned why the family continued seeking financial help less than two years after his passing.
She explained that a court had divided some of the actor’s properties between her and two of his sons, and they jointly agreed to sell one of the house to cover rent, school fees, and basic living expenses.
Stellamaris denied mismanaging funds.
When asked what she does for a living, she stated that her late husband did not allow her to work or run a business while he was alive, leaving her financially vulnerable after his death.
When asked about her next steps, she said she planned to reduce her spending, relocate to a cheaper apartment, and start a small business.
King Mitchy later announced that ₦7.5 million had been donated to support the family with rent and school fees.
Mr Ibu, born John Okafor, was one of Nollywood’s most beloved comic actors. His death left behind children from different relationships....

This woman is useless I saw a video where Mr. Ibu was crying that she came with some occultic men to kill him, Ibu refused to eat her food. If she likes she shouldn't go and start a business with this new donation, nobody should donate for her anymore. Remi Tinubu has said they should go into agbado, Kuli kuli and Akara business, maybe she can have business idea from there.

ReplyDeleteIbu’s older sons has played a fast one on her, unfortunately Mitchy is only trying to clear her on name without giving this woman a proper audience. Another problem of her is English language, I wish someone will interview her in Igbo language.
Btw, why didn’t the other son state that the house sold in Enugu for 17m was for the sole purpose of their father’s burial? Even the money given to her during the burial was only 500k and they made it look like it was millions.
Ibu had so many children and family members, there’s no way 1 woman will sell 3 family houses ALONE and these his rogue children will allow her, someone that cannot even speak proper English. Ibu’s older children are not innocent

I don't believe this woman at all, if you listen well when she said that she and late Ibu's sons sold his properties, she also said that the court told her that she will only take 1/3 of all his properties and the 2/3 will be shared, which means they sold 2/3 of the properties so where is her own 1/3 that she got,

ReplyDeleteWhy would you sell a home to go rent? Legally the children would have had protection to remain in their home because of their ages. No judge would have put you and the young children on the streets. Who did you let encourage you foolishly to sell your residence with three young children needing a secure place to live. You should have sought legal representation, even if it would have cost out of pocket to do so.
ReplyDeleteWomen, please stop moving into family compounds after marriage. Living in these family compounds with extended family members and children from other marriages create conflict and confusion on a regular day, but more so when death of the patriarch arises. It is rarely to your benefit as a new wife to move into these living arrangements.
On a different note, that young lady needs to be fitted with bras that are appropriate for her size and encouraged to wear them at all times except when she is sleeping. All these financial problems should not also lead to long breasts before adulthood.
This woman put these kids up to this. She knows how much her husband was loved so she wants to cash out.
