Do you know that when babies start talking only their mums or the closes person to them will understand what they mean is so hilarious...
Let me share something one of the bambino said and translate it for you.
He always said ''Mama memi pip moi''.....This translated meant ''Mama let me small small'' ''Mama me teeth'' This meant ''Mama i want to use the toilet''
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Please share your toddler langage with us.......Did you/ Do you always have to /had to translate for people? I did...

I always have to ask my wife what our 2 year old baby is saying. How my wife can pick meaning out of the sounds the girl makes is astounding. They can really be hilarious when they are beginning to develop speech.
ReplyDeleteStill happened yesterday night, my 2.5yo son told his dad 'daddy, cover me', he meant with the duvet as he wanted to sleep, my husband had to ask me what he's saying.
ReplyDeleteI sha translated and told him to listen more attentively,, loolll.
Mine used to mimic us & was mimicking my relative who was on phone. When she left he held up his hand like a cellphone & was saying 'dican, dican' meaning discount discount 😄
ReplyDeleteSdk, your bambino must have meant sip small...maybe a drink? 🧃😂 And he's the one buying you big pizza now o. Big boy don come be that ❤️
ReplyDeleteWhen my daughter was two and a half, she returned from nursery exclaiming “mummy eek”. I was puzzled and she kept repeating it. Eventually, she went to her toy box and retrieved an electronic book featuring various everyday items. She flipped through the pages until she reached “milk” and then pointed at me, “mummy eek”. That’s when I realised she was saying “milk”. She’s six now and is still very much obsessed with it.
ReplyDeleteMy almost 3 years old is still at this stage, there are times I don't understand what she is saying and she gets so frustrated ....
