He asked lawmakers whether anyone, if in the governor’s position, would agree to such conditions, noting that giving in would only strengthen the criminals.
He stressed that the focus should remain on security operations aimed at rescuing the victims safely, and urged residents to stay calm and continue supporting the government and security agencies.
