President Bola Tinubu has condoled with the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musawa, over the passing of her mother, Hajiya Fatima Musa Musawa, who died on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The President urged the minister to take the loss with calmness, noting that the death of a parent, especially a mother, is a deeply painful experience he understands personally.
He described the news as saddening, coming only a few years after the family lost its patriarch, Ambassador Musa Musawa. President Tinubu extended his sympathy to the minister and her entire family, praying that Allah grants Hajiya Fatima eternal rest in Al‑Jannah Firdaus and gives the family the strength to bear this loss.
