ReplyDeleteA tragic incident has been reported in Uruezeani Alor following the de@th of Miss Chilaka Vivian, a ND II Nursing student at the College of Nursing Sciences, Alor.
According to accounts, the deceased had allegedly experienced repeated unwanted advances from her landlord, Mr. Ogochukwu Ugoeze, which she is said to have consistently rejected.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, June 14, 2026. It is alleged that the landlord confronted the student at her residence and attempted to force himself on her. Reports further claim that she resisted, leading to a violent struggle. She was allegedly st@b^bed multiple times during the incident, resulting in her de@th.
After the incident, Mr. Ogochukwu Ugoeze reportedly went to the police station, claiming that an unknown person had jumped into his compound and k!l^led his tenant while he was asleep.
However, during preliminary investigations, police reportedly observed inconsistencies in his account. Evidence at the scene allegedly included bl00dstains found not only in the tenant’s room but also within parts of the landlord’s main residence and his sitting room.
Questions were also raised regarding the presence of a guard d0g described by neighbors as highly alert and prone to barking at the slightest disturbance. Investigators reportedly noted that if a struggle had indeed occurred as claimed, the d0g would likely have raised an alarm, given the level of noise and commotion that such an incident would typically generate.
Following these observations and other findings, the suspect was taken into custody for further questioning. The case has since been transferred to the State Police Command for continued investigation.
Authorities have assured the public that a thorough inquiry will be conducted to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident...
