Kwankwaso’s legal team issued a formal notice accusing the cleric of making false, damaging statements that injure his reputation and mislead the public.
The notice demands an immediate retraction, public apology, and compensation, warning that failure to comply will trigger a full defamation suit.
Ayodele said “Kwankwaso is a fake to Obi. Kwankwaso will betray you. Kwankwaso has been paid to be vice president to Obi.”
These remarks were reportedly made during a sermon that was recorded and circulated on social media, and they are the statements Kwankwaso’s legal team described as false, malicious, defamatory, and damaging to his political integrity.

Very commendable, I must say.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I ask myself, is this truly a man of God, or just a politician in disguise? I haven’t seen him preach the gospel. All he does is politicking and defamation. Giving “prophecies” just to hit the polity.
What kind of evangelist is that?
Good that he’s being made to retract and tender an apology, or face prosecution. Someone needs to learn and pay for their utterances. Unfortunately, he’ll fold. He can’t afford the fine.`
