Actor Bob Manuel Udokwu Set To Receive The Golden Legacy Award At The Nollywood Film Festival In Germany

The stage is set for the Nollywood Film Festival Germany (NFFG) and the NEGA Gala Night.
The event will hold from Friday, July 31 to August 1, 2026, in Frankfurt, Germany.
Your favourite actor, Bob Manuel Udokwu, will be honoured at the event with the Golden Legacy Award for leaving an indelible mark on film, television, and public service.



Bob Manuel rose to prominence through classic movies such as Living in Bondage, Karishika, Rattlesnake, and his memorable and unforgettable role as Richard Haatrope in the soap opera Checkmate.

Bob, who once served as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has contributed more than three decades of enduring impact, cultural influence, and unwavering dedication to Nollywood, alongside 14 years of distinguished service in the political sphere.

It is with this achievement that he has been nominated as a worthy recipient of the 24K Golden Legacy Award, one of Nollywood’s most esteemed and celebrated honours in the diaspora.
