Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

Hmmmmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
DIFFUCLT CO-PARENTING

Please a quick one....
I've been separated from my ex- hubby for the past two years but he isn't cooperating at all and i wish for co-parenting but he is insisting I must come with the child any weekend he requests for her because he has no one at home to take care of her if I drop her off. What can I do?

It may be a strategy to get close to you but trust me unless you are Interested again or still Interested in him, you have no right being in the same space with your ex husband...
If he doesn't have anyone to take care of daughter when she visits, then tell him to visit her at home and make sure other people are there, or you might at an eatery....
Dont go to him oh......

If it is a one day visit, it is no big deal if you stay there.

But, if it is through the weekend, he should visit her at your place.

    No two ways about it.

  5. If he has no one to take care of her, then he shouldn't insist on seeing her. Does he help you when she is with you? NO. So why does he want you to come assist him.

  6. Come with her as how? If he's too busy to stay with her then he can do lunch or hang out with her and bring her back to you. Must your baby sleep overnight if he's busy?

  7. This guy sounded like my ex husband, if he is dark skin and recently moved back to lagos, na scope to get into your pants.
When you come around he would open up about what caused the separation and makes you feel he is the wrong one and if youre not disclipline enough, you will give in.

He should see his child in an open space.

  8. I don't know the problem with these ex husbands, ex baby daddies, they always want to knack or not to let go, don't listen to him, that's a strategy, unless you're interested in getting back together with him, if not, two of you should find another solution.

  9. How old is your child? As long as she is no longer a toddler, he should be able to take very good care of her because she's his child . Does he come over to help you with caring for her when she is with you? Unless you want to rekindle your relationship, otherwise he has nothing over you

  10. Stella has said it all. Forget about co-parenting for now. Let him visit you in an open space . Except if you want to get back to him

  11. He doesn't want to let you go. You coming with your child is an excuse for him to see you. Don't give in if there is no room for reconciliation.

  12. If he doesn't have someone at home then let the child stay with you until she can do things herself with minimal supervision. He can talk to her on phone, visit her at school or at your house(if you are okay with it).

  13. He wants to co-parent but cannot set aside time for his child that he sees only on weekends . It is you that may have made plans that now has to cancel your own plans. This is just a way of subtly controlling you. If he was really intentional about being with her, he would block his calendar and make plans. Worst case scenario, take her along to wherever he is going ( is the event permits). Keep records of such happenings before you will be accused of frustrating his efforts to bond with his daughter. If he cannot come meet his child at a public place e,g, eatery , mall etc he should forget about it. Why should you even be tied to the visit. He is meant to be spending quality time with his child and not you shelving all your plans to tag along. That is when like play, play, you will now have to cook for the child to eat, next thing is to start tidying the house etc etc next thing is to spend the night and ....your guess is as good as mine. Unless you too want to rekindle the flame.... then go ahead. He became an ex for a reason abi you want to find out if he has "changed" Pls follow Stella's advice.
