She became widely known after reaching the finals of Miss South Africa in 2024 but withdrew following questions about her citizenship. She later represented Nigeria at Miss Universe and finished as first runner‑up.
South African officials claim her mother used fake documents to register her birth, insisting Adetshina has no legal right to remain in the country.

She was arrested in Cape Town in June 2026 for allegedly living illegally with her young son.
The court released her on warning, and the case was recently adjourned.
Adetshina says she is depressed but determined to keep fighting after the court postponed judgment in her deportation case until August 19, 2026.

I watched the clip and couldn't imagine that these bunch of SA are just jealous and bitter. You guys disqualified her and yet wouldn't let her breathe. Na amotekuns SA version plenty cos Chidima is fyn as hell see chocolate skin, see height, see steeze. Babe please relocate from that country.
