In an online video shared to give people a rundown of events, she revealed that the movie grossed over N103 million in the cinema.
She explained that other deductions were made from the money, from exhibitors, advertising, entertainment tax, withholding tax and more.
In her words;

Our last cinema run was on the 19th of April at ICM Cinema, Ikeja.
At the end of our run, we made N103,094,336
After deductions from exhibitors, distributors, print and advertising, value added tax, entertainment tax and withholding tax, and all other deductions from cinema, the money that was accrued to us as producers of Mother's Love is N22,276,558
100% of that money as promised by Red Hot Concepts was donated to the NGO, From Slum To School
On the 7th of July 2026, our amazing distributors transferred that sum of money to our NGO beneficiary..."
How can she make 22m from a movie that grossed over 100m, I don't understand how this cinema of a thing works, or maybe production cost was also deducted apart from the ones she mentioned,

'The gross income N103m minus exhibitors, distributors, print and advertising, value added tax, entertainment tax and withholding tax, and all other deductions from cinema equals the net income of N22.2m' is a possibility.

Most importantly; didn't you have an education (formal or informal)?
God's favor if production cost has not been deducted from the 22m it means the producer didn't gain much from the movie.
