He advised people to appreciate the memories they share with others while accepting that some relationships may not continue in the same way as before.
He wrote: "One of the hardest things for some people to accept is that they’ve been outgrown.
It doesn’t mean you’re better than them. It doesn’t mean they’re bad people. And it doesn’t mean you’ve forgotten where you came from.
Sometimes, life simply changes you. Your priorities change, your mindset changes, your responsibilities grow, and the things you once had in common no longer connect you the same way.
Not everyone who started the journey with you is meant to walk every stage with you.
Sometimes people keep expecting the same access, the same closeness, the same conversations and the same version of you they knew years ago. And when they don’t get it, they call it pride, arrogance or disrespect.
But growth requires change.
You can appreciate people, respect the memories you shared and remain grateful for the role they played in your life, while still accepting that you have grown in different directions.
Being outgrown is not an insult. It is simply a reality of life.
And sometimes, the most mature thing we can do is stop forcing old relationships to fit into new seasons. Wish each other well, respect the journey, and allow people to grow without making their growth personal.
