Hmmmmmmmm......
STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
WASTEFUL MOTHER
I was raised by my dad, but guess who is reaping from where she did not sow? My mom!
From last year till this present time, I can’t count how much I have sent to my mom. The most painful one was the last money I gave her ;which was 250k around April this year to start a little business.
My mom can’t account for that money, and now I have to look for another money to give her. The mistake I made was having a child because he stays with my mom while I’m here struggling so hard.
My dad is a well-to-do man; he doesn’t ask his children for money except you willingly give to him, but I can’t lie, I feel guilty for not doing enough for my dad. He saw me through every stage of my life for more than 20 years. Well, I’m still thinking if I should give my mom another money or not, but I’m confused because of my child.
shaking my head!
Did you ask your mum what she did with the money? Your dad has and does not ask but your mum has needs.....Talk to her and try to find out what she is doing with money and see if you can help out....I hate it when people complain about helping their parents!
For christ sakes, give them and keep giving until they no longer need!!!

I understand the need for accountability. But I still don’t think it’s right to turn your back on your Mom, no matter how she spends the money you give her. Maybe sit her down and find out what exactly is causing it. Better still, you can set up the business of her choice for her yourself.
ReplyDeleteA parent’s sacrifice can’t be equated with whatever we think we’ve done for them.
When my Dad was alive and had retired from business due to age, he would call me often asking for money for church donations, levies, contributions, dues, and utility bills. I gave to him willingly, even when I didn’t have. Sometimes I borrowed to give him. Today he’s no more.
Sometimes I wish I could still hear his voice and those requests. I would have done so much more for him in the last eight years since he left.
So cheer up, sweetie. Don’t feel bad. A woman is called ‘NNEKA’ in my native language. Do you know what that means? A mother is superior.

You have said it all
DeleteGod bless you bro
Please sit her down and talk to her about it. May the good God keep blessing and providing for you..RIP to mine and dad..
ReplyDeleteSorry Ms Stella. I don’t agree with you on this one.
ReplyDeleteStella your comment is not right o, the father also need help even if he does not ask, the mother is reaping where she did not sow and again she will never stop asking for money, cos she does not know how to be frugal. Please help your Dad even if he did not ask.
DeleteGet a reliable child minder for your child and stop all those giving to your mum. She will never stop asking. I bet you that child is not even enjoying the funds you send to her for his upkeep. Stop indulging her. No one is clapping for you. I’m so pissed at this post.

ReplyDeleteA mother's love is priceless, and no child wants to turn their back on the woman who gave them life. So when she says she needs help, your heart naturally responds. You give not because you have plenty, but because you don't want to see her suffer.
A mother's position in a child's heart is irreplaceable. That is why children often forgive, give again, and keep hoping that this time will be different.
Never stop loving your mother and also reach out to your dad and get him a very nice gift.
Priceless love from a mother that just showed up ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
DeleteThats how you guys drop ideas in people’s head. Where was the mum with the priceless love for her when she needed her ๐๐คจ๐
DeleteIf I write about what my mother has done to me you will change this write up immediately. Mother's live is priceless indeed.
DeleteAt least you have a mother you can give money to. If i had one i don't think i will care what she does with the money i give her at all. Bringing me into this world is enough for me to give her everything i own.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that she is taking care of your child is enough to just look away.
Give her please.
Give your Dad too, even though you think he has enough. It makes men very proud and happy.

DeleteHave runaway mother first
Poster sorry, but why is your child not staying with your father to help him do some house chores now that he's old. I mean this man raised you. As for your mum, trust me she's using some charm and do as I say on you. You need to go to MFM for prayers

DeleteI don't agree with Stella on this too. I believe you should not fund that business again but place her on a monthly allowance. Some people are not business oriented, so it will be a sheer waste of resources trying to establish a business for them. Place her on a monthly allowance and face front!
ReplyDeleteIf you think she is not business-inclined, kindly give her upkeep money from time to time.
ReplyDeleteBut, first ask her about the venture she put the money into. Have patience with her if you feel the zeal to succeed in business in her.
That she failed in one does not mean she will be a perpetual failure in business.
Stop setting her up
ReplyDeleteJust give her monthly income and save your peace
Poster please she should be held accountable. You can't continue to show love where it not needed. It should be both ways. Please extend the love to your dad. It will be mean a lot to him. Good luck on your decision
