The National Economic Council, NEC, has approved the refinancing of the $3.3 billion Project Gazelle Pre-Export Finance Facility through a new US$4.5 billion facility, named Project Gazelle 2. Gunmen have reportedly killed a former councillor of Rim Ward in the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, Daniel Danjuma Chong, popularly known as ‘Hon. Star,’ in yet another attack on a community in the state.
