Delta Govt Suspends Works Commissioner Izeze Rume Over Alleged Assault On Protocol Aide
The Delta State Government has placed Hon. Izeze Rume Yakubu Reuben, Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), on indefinite suspension with immediate effect.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, explained that the suspension will allow security agencies to conduct a fair and unhindered investigation into claims linking the commissioner to the alleged assault of the Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Mr. Simon Mudi (Temple), at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun.
