The awards were presented at the 2026 Long Service Merit Ceremony in Alausa, where Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, representing Governor Babajide Sanwo‑Olu, praised the officers for decades of commitment and quality service to citizens.
Head of Service Olabode Agoro said the awardees; 492 senior officers and 14 junior officers were recognised for loyalty, discipline and consistency. Permanent Secretary Toyin Ogunlana added that the ceremony celebrates careers built on integrity, diligence and excellence.
