The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested alleged drug kingpin KC Luxury, days after operatives seized cocaine worth N30 billion linked to his international trafficking network.

KC Luxury, who reportedly fled when the massive consignment was intercepted, was tracked and arrested on August 13, 2026, following an intensive manhunt. NDLEA sources say he had been on the agency’s radar for months due to suspicious financial activities and ties to a wider drug ring.
The intercepted cocaine was being prepared for export to the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia, with Nigeria serving as a transit point in a network that originated from South America.
KC Luxury, known publicly as a luxury goods dealer and influencer, was identified as a key figure in the operation.
NDLEA agents arrested him at the boarding gate of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, as he attempted to board a business‑class flight to Paris. Officers recovered foreign currency, cash, and jewellery from him.
A search of his Banana Island apartment uncovered multiple high‑end vehicles and other luxury items believed to be proceeds of the trafficking operation.
A second suspect, Lawal Kehinde, an employee of the logistics company involved, was also arrested. He allegedly assisted in packaging and dispatching the drug consignments.
NDLEA says investigations are ongoing and more arrests are expected as the agency continues to dismantle the network behind the multi‑billion‑naira cocaine shipment.

They set up with one day 'job' or one shop selling ties and socks to appear like they have a normal stream of income, fashion or tech outfit ๐ ๐ญ, and use that as a front for their main job.
There are 100000s of them hiding in plain sight.
Chai, some people will be envying them not knowing they’re doing coverups with the business everyone sees them doing
ReplyDeleteEnvy no one
DeleteDon't compare your life to others
Exactly BJ. Envy no one, do what you can as your strength and faith allows you to. But if a man must do crime like selling drugs, it is wisdom to know when to bow out from the scene. This guy made enough billions to last a lifetime long ago. He could have quietly retired and enjoyed his money and the NDLEA would have been none the wiser. But the thrill of each successful delivery became addictive. He wanted more. It wasn't about just selling drugs anymore, it was seeing how much he could get away with.
DeleteThe people destroying the lives of our youth. Thank God one has been arrested.
ReplyDeleteI keep wondering,is it that most rich people in Nigeria are involved in shady dealings???
ReplyDeleteDo we not have honest ,clean,no shady rich people???
No we don't, and it'll continue to rise.
DeleteHave you seen cost of rent? Can salary afford to pay for this? Food and shelter are primary basic needs and as it stands both now seems above reach, some people will be forced to involve themselves in criminality to survive. Crime isnt an excuse but what else would you have them do
Marie, please stop wondering because a country where drug Lord, ex-convicts and touts are ruling, crime will abound!
DeleteThey arrested these 49 and 33-year old men but who are their main drug lords and cartel ringleaders?
In 1990, these men were about 13 years and 3 years respectively when a prominent Nigerian magazine foretold that Nigeria will be ruled by drug barons.
๐๐ฟ⬇️
Newbreed magazine in November 5, 1990 published this cover Headline: "DRUG BARONS May Determine Nigeria's Political Future"
