Osun State Gov Adeleke Announces N500m Endowment Fund For Pre-Election Violence Victims
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced a N500 million endowment fund for victims of pre‑election violence in the state, along with full scholarships up to university level for children of those who lost their lives.
Adeleke said the initiative is purely humanitarian and not a political gimmick, stressing that no family affected by political violence should be abandoned. He also appealed for unity among Osun residents, reminding them that he governs everyone, regardless of who they supported during the elections. He urged citizens to stand together, heal together, and ensure that political violence does not become a norm in the state.
In the previous election in the state lives has not be lost like this one. Very immature politicians. The blood will be required of you people, all of you.
