Tuesday In House News

Hailings eeeeeeeh........

TUESDAY MEMO

How is everything? You don chop?I am having roasted corn for Lunch and its so yummy....I hear its corn season in Naija and I am wondering if they are as sweet as the ones here.

Isn't it how amazing how people become s jobless that they log unto  ones day job to see what one has to offer? they calculate ones day to day activity and wish so badly for one to fail but the real truth is that they are the definition of failure cos stagnancy and trolling go hand in hand...
My people is there a cure for trolling? IR how did you cure yourself when you were trolling me? How did you manage to get rid of that spirit? you seriously need to drop tips for them before someone hurts themselves hating on me and some few others here,
You know how it is when you are doing someone bad in the dark and are relieved that no one sees you? There is one big eyes that sees the whole world at the same time, that eye records all wrongs and rights and until you repent of your evil doing on this blog, it shall never be well with you and yours....... It is only true repentance that can free you from my curse!
I ask once again, is there a cure for trolling?
BV Abionah that thing you said yesterday about being called broke so that i go do giveaway na true you talk but i dont roll like that no more so make dem find new format......hehehehehehehehehheheheh ......

Someone will be happy I am posting late so that they can do their alleged work...hahahahahahahahahahahaha

TEACHER LIFE

The Chaos and Comedy of Kindergarten Graduation Season....

Graduation season had come and gone, and for teachers, it was a reminder that kindergarten ceremonies were never just about the children. The parents arrived with their own colourful personalities, turning a simple event into a lively spectacle.
In every school, there was the Always Late Parent.
Her child had practised for weeks, performed beautifully on stage, and returned to sit with classmates. Moments later, the mother hurried in, breathless and confused.
“Has she performed?” she asked.
Unfortunately, she had missed everything.
Then came the Major Role, Major Delay Parent.
Her child held an important part in the presentation. The teacher stood at the entrance, scanning for them. The music was ready. The other children were waiting backstage.
Suddenly, the teacher’s phone rang.
“Miss C, we are almost there,” the parent said.
Almost where? Because the child was supposed to be on stage at that very moment.
There was also the Oh I Forgot the Costume Parent.
The costume request had been sent home two weeks earlier. A reminder followed. Then a WhatsApp message. Then a verbal reminder. Everything possible.
Yet on graduation morning, the parent announced,
“Ah, I thought it was next week.”
Meanwhile, the child stood beside her, looking like the only person who came fully prepared.

Another familiar character was the You People Never Pick My Child Parent.
Every event, every term, every presentation brought the same complaint:
“How come my child was not chosen?”
Teachers often wondered if they should begin with attendance, or whether the child had actually learnt the part sent home.
Then came the Cameraman and Camera Woman Parents.
The moment their child stepped on stage, they transformed from parents into professional videographers.
Phones held high.
Moving left.
Moving right.
Blocking the view of everyone behind them, determined to capture every second.
And finally, there was the Odogwu Parent.
This parent did not care whose child was performing.
A child danced? Money flew.
Another child sang? Money flew.
Someone simply walked across the stage? Money was already in the air.
By the end of the ceremony, Odogwu had sprayed enough money to make every child feel like the star of the show.
In the middle of all this delightful chaos stood the teachers, trying to ensure every child remembered their lines, stayed on stage, wore their costumes correctly, and did not bend down to pick money from the floor halfway through the performance.
Kindergarten graduation was never just a ceremony.
It was an event, a fashion show, a family reunion, a photography session, and for teachers, one final test of patience before everyone finally went home.

Awwwwwww, i just rememebered the Bambinos time in KIGA...........so deep and some of their best friends today is from there...

HAPPY SERENDIPITY DAY...

Today, August 18th is Serendipity Day.
Serendipity is another word for “happy accident”. When you find something nice that you were not looking for.
A typical example is, you normally take a bus from Oshodi to Ajah, but decided to take Oshodi to Ojuelegba through Mushin, and happen to see a long lost friend at Mushin Oloosa. Get the picture?
Sometimes serendipity isn't a miracle falling from the sky.
Sometimes it's meeting another person.
It's an unexpected phone call.
A chance introduction.
A free training.
A business idea.
A helping hand.
A friend who says, “I've got you.”
An opportunity she almost didn't attend.
Sometimes, serendipity is simply being in the right room at the right time.
So, this Serendipity Day, I'm asking:
What if your next YES changes everything?
Try something new.
Show up somewhere different.
Meet someone new.
Support someone else's dream.
You never know what beautiful thing is waiting on the other side of your YES.

WEIRD FACTS

---- As you grow older you realize it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones.

---- The brain shrinks over the course of the day, ending up smaller in the evening – before returning to its full size the next morning.

--- 10-15 minutes of jump roping can burn over 200 calories. This makes jump roping one of the best and efficient forms of cardio.

--- By donating just one pint of blood, four lives can be saved.

  25. Many years ago, my aunt (mum's younger sister) lost her only daughter who had just gotten married and was having her first child. The baby survived.
My aunt tortured this girl so much. Anytime she brings her to visit, the girl will be looking like one of those children we see in pictures of war-torn countries. She had scars all over the body and looked very malnourished, looking like a one year old at two years of age..
Aunty said the child was evil, she took the life of her precious daughter.
Out of pity, my mum begged one of my sisters who had married but did not have any child yet to take the little girl in. Aunty handed her over and lived alone, no child or husband (he died long before then)...

Fast-forward to this year, the baby has grown, she is 11 now, done with primary school. Aunty called my mum and said she wants the little girl back with her because no one to run errands for her and she is getting old and weak. My mum told her to hire a maid and we will pay the salary, let the girl complete her secondary school before coming over cos she is too small to do the work in the house. Mum also knows that her sister will resume the torture and this may affect the poor girl's education..
Aunty called family meeting on my mum's head.
Thank God we snapped the girl back then and saved the pictures, when they were forwarded to the elders on Whatsapp, they rained curses on aunty, they warned her to stay away from the girl.
My sister who now has two children of her own had to relocate from her house to a new house where aunty doesn't know. Even the poor girl doesn't want to go to her grandma's.
We are praying seriously, let aunty not go diabolical on us. We just want the girl to be ok in life.

  28. School resumed here yesterday, and there was a little drama at my school.

‎A student failed his class and was asked to repeat. He and his elder brother were the ones who collected the results but they did not show them to their parents.

‎His father came to the school to pay his fees and take care of other things. That was when he discovered that his son was repeating the class. The father said Okay, no problem and paid for everything.

‎Today the mother came to the school with the boy and said that her son could not repeat under any circumstances. The school management explained that he could not be promoted to the next class because he had not met the requirements.

‎The father was called and when he arrived they called the boy asked him to produce his result. According to the boy he did not know where it was.

‎ the father asked him to bring the result first before he would say anything.
    We're waiting for them tomorrow.
