If you're a redeemed child of God, then the Holy Spirit lives within you. And he will guide you towards God's blessings for your life, and to bless others. In some cases, your ability to overrule reason, tune out the well-meaning advice of others and be led by God's Spirit can make a world of difference for someone in need.

Admiral Sir Thomas Williams was in command of a ship that routinely crossed the Atlantic. His course brought him in sight of Ascension Island, which was uninhabited most of the time. It was barely visible on the horizon when Sir Thomas felt a great urge to steer his vessel towards it. The closer he came to the island, the greater the urgency he felt. When he gave the order to head for the island, his lieutenant respectfully pointed out that such a course chang e would greatly delay them. Even so, the admiral remained intent. The inner urging, which he had come to recognise as God guiding him, was very strong. As the ship neared the island, his crew spotted a white flag. 'It must be a signal!' Williams concluded. Sure enough, on the beach were sixteen men who'd been shipwrecked many days before. They were starving and had nearly given up hope.

Sixteen lives were saved in one day because a man had learned to listen to and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit within him. And you can too. 'The true children of God are those who let God's Spirit lead them' (Romans 8:14 NCV).

From the loud doubts of an "Olodo Uprising" to pulling off a grand, high class wedding attended by heavyweights in luxury rides, a multi million naira Abuja mansion, and cash showers from every corner of Nigeria. Omoh! Even me sef, I shock. Na im make I wan share wetin I learn from dis whole Jarvis and Peller mata. But come o, Who even sets the rules for success bikonu?

It teaches us a raw truth: we spend our entire lives chasing paper. We grind long hours, squeeze every kobo, and deceive ourselves that a fat bank account is the ultimate power. But true, unshakable success was never about the digits in your balance sheet. It is about the human capital sitting right beside you.

Money is loud, but relationships are pure gold. Cash has a hard ceiling. It can buy comfort, but it cannot sit with you when the night is cold and lonely. It cannot whisper wise counsel in a room full of heavy decision makers, and it certainly cannot force open a locked door that only a timely phone call or a loyal recommendation can unlock in two seconds flat. Your bank balance can crash to zero tomorrow morning. Inflation can wipe out savings, and trends can fade. But a rock solid circle? My God! A trusted friend who shares a life altering idea? A mentor who pulls you back from a blind cliff? That safety net has no ceiling.

Support na soft liquid, and grace na limitless current when backed by genuine value. So stop killing yourself for currency alone. Stop treating people like stepping stones. Build your own character, add weight to your personal worth, and invest heavily in human bonds. When you carry value and align with people of substance, doors will open for you that a billion dollars cannot buy. Take care of your circle. Value people. Invest in humans. Because at the end of the day, money na water, but a loyal network keeps flowing forever. Ask Peller and Jarvis. I go lie for you!
