Stella asked Bob, “Directing versus acting; which one do you love more and why?”
Bob responded, “Having studied theatre arts, you are taught directing, script writing, acting, production management, choreography and all aspects of theatre. Since I’m one of the pioneers, acting was a quicker way for the audience to know who you are. Many of us opted for acting in the early stages of the industry. I wouldn’t say I love one more than the other, but acting gives you visibility. Most people don’t know directors, but actors are easily noticed. So acting, being in front of the camera, is more acceptable to me.”

He's right.
