In a message posted alongside recent photos, she revealed that becoming a mother has transformed her life in many ways and encouraged new mums to be patient and kind to themselves as they adjust to their new reality. She reminded them that it’s normal not to feel or look the same immediately after childbirth.
Ini also disclosed that she has been dealing with tenosynovitis...

“Life lately.
A little glimpse of the last few months. So much has changed, and I’m still finding my way through it all.
To the new mums who may not quite recognise themselves yet, be patient with yourself. You may not look or feel exactly the way you did before, and that’s okay. Your body has done something incredible. Give yourself grace and time.
Slowly but surely, you’ll find your way back to yourself. And maybe, you’ll discover a new version of you along the way.
PS: Pls, who has a remedy for Tenosynovitis (mum wrist)? I’ve been in so much pain.”
For those who do not know, Google says
''Tenosynovitis commonly called mum wrist is an inflammation around the wrist and thumb caused by repetitive lifting, feeding and holding a baby. It brings sharp pain, swelling and difficulty gripping. Many new mums experience it because of constant strain on the tendons. Resting the wrist, using a brace, warm or cold compresses, gentle physiotherapy stretches and medical guidance for pain relief are general ways people manage it. Persistent or worsening pain should be checked by a healthcare professional.''
Motherhood is a challenging journey.
