This is the first time a refinery has been offered to the public on the NGX in its 66-year history. The company is selling 4.1 billion ordinary shares at ₦525 each. The offer could raise about ₦2.15 trillion (roughly $1.6 billion) if fully taken up.
Shares are available to retail and institutional investors. The minimum buy is just 10 shares (₦5,250). The offer runs from 14 September to 13 October 2026.
The 700,000-barrel-per-day refinery is Africa’s largest and Proceeds will help fund plans to double capacity.
Dangote has called it an “IPO for the people,” saying ordinary Nigerians should have the chance to own a stake.
If you are interested in buying shares ,ask your bank or talk to a broker.
How I wish I have some savings even if it's 100units, pesin for buy take hold body. Anyways it was not stated whether the share is issued at par or discount, I know it can't be premium because it's called IPO for the people.
