Interviewer: What's your go-to food order when you're in New York?
Tony Elumelu: Bagels! Cinnamon raisin bagels. Yummy!
Interviewer: Lagos traffic or New York traffic?
Tony Elumelu: Lagos traffic. Lagos traffic is far better. New York can be horrible at this time.
Interviewer: What's one thing people don't understand about UNGA week?
Tony Elumelu: People think UNGA is about social interaction. No, far from it. It's a busy period. You have so much to accomplish within just 4, 5 days.
Interviewer: What's your go-to UNGA uniform?
Tony Elumelu: Suits. Blue suit, black suit, dark grey suit. That's my uniform for UNGA.
Interviewer: If you could put one issue affecting young Africans on every UNGA agenda, what would it be?
Tony Elumelu: Empowerment of young Africans and also attracting private global capital to Africa to help industrialize Africa and deal with our infrastructure deficit.
